The Self Storage Association have a recognised operating standard to which all their members have to meet certain criteria in able to use the Self Storage Association logo .

This gives the customer some consistency in operating standards across the industry when selecting a self storage facility BUT this does not cover self storage insurance . Many members offer self storage insurance but, as we have pointed out on previously blogs, their insurance premiums are significantly higher the quotes we are able to provide as they continue to use the self storage insurance as a major revenue scheme.
